INFORMATION FOR GOLF TOURNAMENT
Registration: 9 a.m. 
Shotgun Start: 11 a.m. 
Award Ceremony: 3:30 p.m.
 
General Information
  • Registration will open at 9:30 a.m., 90 minutes before the scheduled shotgun start. 
  • Same day sign-ups will be subject to availability.
  • Players are asked to wear golf shirts with collars and golf pants or shorts (no more than 4" above the knee). Denim is not permitted. Golfers who are not staying at the Park Hyatt, and are participating in the poker tournament following golf, are invited to use the clubhouse locker rooms to shower and change prior to taking the shuttle to the Park Hyatt. 
  • Players will have the opportunity to purhase mulligans at the registration desk ($20 for 1 mulligan or $100 for 6 mulligans). There is a limit to 6 mulligans per foursome. 
  • Players will have the opportunity to purhase raffle tickets at the check-in table. $20 for 1 ticket or $100 for 6 tickets. There will be three prizes that will be raffled off at the awards ceremony following the golf tournament. You must be in attendance at the time of the raffle drawing to receive the prize. 
  • Complimentary breakfast sandwiches and boxed lunches will be available to each golfer at registration. 
  • The awards ceremony will immediately follow the golf tournament. Sponsored beer and vodka will be available in addition to a cash bar. Light snacks and waters will also be provided. 
Tournament Rules
  • The tournament will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start and will be formatted as a standard four-person scramble with a maximum 2 putt rule to keep the players moving along. 
  • The following standard golf contests will take place during the tournament: 
    • Closest to the pin - 2 holes
    • Longest drive - 1 hole
  • There will also be 6 "Chip for Chips" challenges throughout the course where foursomes can collectively donate money ($100 per foursome per challenge) for the opportunity to build their individual chip stacks for the evening poker tournament.
    • A chalk starting circle will be placed somewhere off the green. 
    • A chalk target circle (6-foot diameter) will be drawn around the hole.
    • Each player will attempt to chip from the starting circle and land the ball within the target circle.
    • Standard Bonus Chips. For every ball that rests within the target circle, each player will receive a bonus coupon worth $200 in additional poker tournament chips, for a maximum of $800 in additional chips per player per challenge, or $4,800 per player across the 6 challenges.
    • Additional “In the Circle” Bonus Chips. Any player who lands his or her shot within the circle will earn an additional “In the Circle” bonus coupon worth $200 in additional poker tournament chips, for a maximum of $1,200 in “In the Circle” bonus chips across the 6 challenges.
    • Additional “In the Cup” Bonus Chips. Any player who holes out his or her chip will get an additional “In the Cup” bonus coupon worth $500 in additional poker tournament chips, for a maximum of $3,000 in “In the Cup” bonus chips across the 6 challenges.
       

INFORMATION FOR RECEPTION / POKER TOURNAMENT

Registration: 4:30 p.m. 
Reception: 5 p.m. 
Tournament Start: 6 p.m.

General Information
  • Shuttle service will be available from 4:15 - 5 p.m. to transport golfers from the course to the Park Hyatt. 
  • Check-in for the poker tournament will open at 4:30 p.m. 
  • Same day sign-ups will be based on availability. 
  • All registrants will receive an initial chip stack  plus additional chips that may have been earned during the golf tournament). 
  • Cocktail reception will begin at 5 p.m., and will feature music, open bar, passed hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction. Indoor and outdoor seating will be available. 
Tournament Rules
  • The tournament will be Texas Hold 'Em. 
  • Initial buy-in of $400 for 5,000 in chip value. 
  • Rebuys at $100 apiece for an addiitonal $5,000 in chip value (can be purchased an unlimited number of times, but can only be when the player's chip stack falls below $5,000)
  • Add-ons are allowed once during the first break, and can be purchased at one of the three levels:
    • $100 for $10,000 in chip value,
    • $200 for $20,000 in chip value, or 
    • $300 for $30,000 in chip value
  • The tournament will feature thousands of dollars in prizes, including trophies/additional prizes awarded to those who make it to the final table, the top chip leader and the player with the most re-buys.
