Chicago Title Houston Offices Rally to Support Military Families
Employees hold friendly challenge; nearly $10k donated to Folded Flag Foundation
HOUSTON – Oct. 7, 2015 – Chicago Title Houston announced that its offices have donated nearly $10,000 to the Folded Flag Foundation.
Employees at the 13 Houston-area offices and four attorney offices recently sponsored a friendly month-long competition among local offices to see which location could raise the most money for the charity. After raising $4,820, Chicago Title’s Houston office matched the donations raised, making a total contribution of nearly $10,000 to the Folded Flag Foundation.
The Folded Flag Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides scholarship and other educational grants to the spouses and children of the United States military and U.S. government personnel who have lost their lives in defense of our country. Because all administrative costs associated with the foundation are underwritten by Black Knight Financial Services and ServiceLink, 100 percent of all donations received go directly to the families in need.
Earlier this year, the Folded Flag Foundation announced it has awarded more than $135,000 in educational assistance to 12 applicants in its inaugural scholarship campaign.
