I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer, it has been a busy one for The Folded Flag Foundation. We are proud to announce that last month, we awarded more than $4 million in grants and scholarships to more than 870 Gold Star recipients for summer school and the 2023/24 school year. Without your support, these scholarships would not have been possible, and every donation you make to The Folded Flag Foundation helps Gold Star families by honoring the sacrifice and the selfless service of the hero they lost.
We are able to award so many scholarships because of events like our annual Salute to Service Gala presented by Bridgeport Partners, is coming up on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, at Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. While it will undoubtedly be an evening of celebration, it will also serve as our chance to pay tribute to our fallen service members who put on the uniform and laid down their lives in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. OVER $270,000 RAISED AT ROCK CREEK CATTLE COMPANY’S FOOD, WINE AND ARTS FESTIVAL
Rock Creek Cattle Company hosted its annual Food, Wine and Arts Festival on July 28 and 29 at its property in Deer Lodge, Montana. During the two-day private event, guests were invited to view local art, bid on auction items, and participate in food and wine tastings. The NHL Stanley Cup® made an appearance at this year’s event, giving guests once-in-a-lifetime opportunities with the Cup.
We are excited to announce over $270,000 was raised at this year’s event – all of which will benefit our Gold Star families. Folded Flag would like to thank Rock Creek Cattle Company, Foley Family Wines, the artists, and the wonderful guests who contributed to this year’s event.
SALUTE TO SERVICE GALA
Join The Folded Flag Foundation for our Salute to Service Gala presented by Bridgeport Partners on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, as we pay special tribute to our nation’s fallen service members and their families. We are excited to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Jerome Bettis, Pro Football Hall of Famer and Super Bowl Champion.
Proceeds from this event will go directly to supporting Folded Flag’s mission of providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of our nation’s fallen service members.
100% of the funds raised from the gala will go directly to providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of U.S. military members who died in service to our country.
