Later this month, we will be awarding more than 750 grants and scholarships at $3.25 million for 2022 summer and 2022/23 school year to our Gold Star recipients. MEMORIAL DAY FUNDRAISING
This past Memorial Day, The Folded Flag Foundation partnered with celebrities, news outlets and organizations to raise money to support Gold Star families.
Country music star Lee Brice supported Folded Flag’s mission in the NASCAR I-Race 300 Memorial Day Celebration. Additionally, breweries, clothiers and other companies across the country joined in raising awareness and funds to support the families of our fallen servicemembers.
Much of the country had the opportunity to hear Folded Flag’s story and mission, and learn more about the families we serve. Fox 5 – Las Vegas reported about one local Gold Star Family. From the efforts of our community partners, Folded Flag received more than $400,000 in support in the month of May.
