May is a time to recognize the sacrifices of all Gold Star families who have lost loved ones in defense of our nation during Gold Star Awareness Month.

The Folded Flag Foundation is honored to help the spouses and children of our nation’s fallen service members by providing them with needed financial support to cover growing educational costs. When you donate to Folded Flag, 100% goes directly to providing scholarships to these family members.

May 12 is Military Spouse Appreciation Day. Military Spouse Appreciation Day has been celebrated nationally each year since 1984 on the Friday before Mother’s Day. When military service calls, spouses are the backbones of their families, providing strength and support in ways that often go unseen. We hope you will consider contributing this month in recognition of the spouses who have already given so much.

Another way you can help this month is by using AmazonSmile. AmazonSmile offers the same experience as Amazon, but donates .5% of every purchase to the non-profit of your choice. There is no additional cost to you. If you are shopping for Mother’s Day, consider using AmazonSmile and searching “Folded Flag Foundation” to help contribute to our cause.

Thank you for your continued support,

Kim Frank, President, The Folded Flag Foundation
